Speech is great, but silence can be greater.

One Beautiful Thought — Lalaji, 2026-05-14

Four voices

Quran 39:18

— Hamidullah

Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.

— Sahih International

Matthew 13:16

— Louis Segond, 1910

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

— King James Version

Bhagavad Gita 10:1

Krishna.
Hear farther yet, thou Long-Armed Lord! these latest words I say--
Uttered to bring thee bliss and peace, who lovest Me alway--
Not the great company of gods nor kingly Rishis know
My Nature, Who have made the gods and Rishis long ago;

Whispers

Whisper of 2005-03-08, 10:00 — Babuji

To stop and look back allows reflection on one's life. Is it conclusive, beneficial, and does it go in the right direction? This analysis is necessary; it allows modification of certain behaviours not completely in compliance with a spiritual process.

"The way is long and difficult, much more so than it seems at the beginning; victory over oneself is more than praiseworthy. This framework being established, one has yet to do one's own work; it is critical, contrary to what some of our aspirants believe who completely rely on the Master's work. His work is of primary importance, but it is good, periodically, to recall that much personal effort is equally important, as well as an appropriate attitude.

"What results from this is a state of mind, a way of being. Feeling the effects of grace in oneself is very important. These moments should be developed, relished and maintained through faith and determination to follow through with this divine quest.

"The Master and the disciple are bound together in a mystical impulse where the seeker feels he is caught up by a kind of vibratory swirl elevating his soul towards the summits. These moments of communion are intense; they do not necessarily occur at the Master's feet and that is good. Distances do not count when fervour is there; it unites seeking hearts in a kind of delectable osmosis.

"May all our brothers progress and recognise themselves in a highly spiritualised movement where tepidness and hesitation do not foster elevation.

--Reflections

May our blessings and love touch their hearts and motivate them. This is our constant wish."
