Et une mauvaise parole est pareille à un mauvais arbre, déraciné de la surface de la terre et qui n'a point de stabilité.

And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.

NOUS devons revenir sur un point important déjà développé hier : votre “mission” au sein de la Mission dans son ensemble. Vous êtes un de ses constituants ; quoi que vous fassiez, votre place est importante et essentielle à son développement. Prenez bien conscience de cela et de ce que vous représentez, en tant qu’abhyasis pratiquant assidûment.

La Mission se développe, et doit se structurer solidement. Il lui faut des responsables, qui agissent sous la conduite du Maître. Il ne peut tout faire et tout voir. La tâche, au niveau matériel, devient très lourde ; il doit de plus en plus mettre en place un encadrement humain compétent.

Cela n’est pas toujours facile, il faut ménager les susceptibilités, mais il faut dépasser ce genre de réactions primaires et ne voir que l’intérêt général du groupe, qu’il soit petit ou conséquent. Rien ne vous empêche de vous exprimer, de dire votre façon de voir sur tel ou tel sujet, la concertation est importante et l’autoritarisme, déconseillé. Vous devez, avant tout, apprendre à vivre votre vie spirituelle ensemble. »

We must come back to an important aspect already addressed yesterday: your 'mission' within the Mission as a whole. You are one of its components; no matter what you do, your place is important and essential to its development. Be well aware of that and of what you represent as abhyasis practising assiduously.

"The Mission is growing and must be firmly structured. It needs persons in charge acting under Master's leadership. He cannot do and see everything. The task, at the material level, becomes very heavy; more and more he must set up a competent managerial system.

"That is not always easy. People's sensibilities should not be offended – though this kind of primary reaction should be overcome so as to only focus on the general interest of the group, whether big or small. Nothing prevents you from expressing yourself, from saying your way of seeing such-and-such an aspect; dialogue is important and authoritarianism is not recommended. You must, above all, learn how to live your spiritual life together."
