One Beautiful Thought — Daaji, 2020-12-08

Four voices

Quran 2:205

— Hamidullah

And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption.

— Sahih International

Matthew 26:52

Alors Jésus lui dit : Remets ton épée à sa place ; car tous ceux qui prendront l’épée périront par l’épée.

— Louis Segond, 1910

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

— King James Version

Bhagavad Gita 16:21

The Doors of Hell
Are threefold, whereby men to ruin pass,--
The door of Lust, the door of Wrath, the door
Of Avarice. Let a man shun those three!

— Edwin Arnold, 1900 (poetic rendering; passage located by content, Arnold does not number verses)

Whispers

Whisper of 2001-10-28, 10:00 — Babuji

--Réflexions

— Message du Monde Lumineux (Babuji Maharaj)

We help you, you must become aware of this fact, even if results do not show the way you expect. You cannot assess in an objective way what we are telling you, but rest assured: we alleviate your burden. How could we remain insensitive to what you are going through? We do not have the power to chase everything away, but we are creating a suit of armour for you to let you resist.

"We can only repeat ourselves: in this circumstance, be confident.

"A great proportion of humanity is bending beneath the yoke of misfortune and misery that generate hunger as well as unbearable suffering. You should do more than praying and sympathising, if you can. Each human being belongs to a larger body, from which you yourself emanated. In a way, you are suffering from the misery of your brothers, without being able to identify the cause thereof. There are higher reasons for things to go that way.

"'Love thy neighbour as thyself' is a fair expression of what men's behaviour should be; but all still have to become aware of this supreme Unity which makes them interdependent on one another."
