Expansion of consciousness makes one more flexible and less rigid. It is like a tree brimming with fruits. If the tree is flexible it will bear more and more fruits by bending; if the tree is rigid, then it breaks.

Four voices

Quran 2:74

— Hamidullah

Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

— Sahih International

Matthew 21:44

— Louis Segond, 1910

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

— King James Version

Bhagavad Gita 11:27

Lo! to the cavern hurled
Of Thy wide-opened throat, and lips white-tushed,
I see our noblest ones,
Great Dhritarashtra's sons,
Bhishma, Drona, and Karna, caught and crushed!

— Edwin Arnold, 1900 (poetic rendering; passage located by content, Arnold does not number verses)

Whispers

Whisper of 1999-11-09, 10:00 — Babuji

— Message du Monde Lumineux (Babuji Maharaj)

When seeds are sown, each one of them sprouts and develops differently at their own pace, more or less effectively, but looking at the whole crop the sower can be satisfied; the whole has benefited from his good care and he can see the result.

"The heat of the sun can warm the one that is most sensitive to the cold, the most fragile one, and make of it a beautiful big plant. The more its heart will open up to the beneficial rays of love, the more the Creator will turn His attention to it with tenderness. Some will be resistant to all the care and all the attempts aimed at helping them, and they will be parched, isolated and disillusioned. He will have to be patient and wait, sometimes a very long time, before arriving at the optimal result.

"You understand what we are driving at. You have understood that being surrendered to God and that the openness of your heart to His love were your major assets; you act as is proper and you look in the right direction.

"You are on track and you will arrive at the destination; be blessed."
