Ils les nièrent injustement et orgueilleusement, tandis qu'en eux-mêmes ils y croyaient avec certitude. Regarde donc ce qu'il est advenu des corrupteurs.

And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.

Les raisons de Dieu ne sont pas celles des hommes. Pourquoi ceci, pourquoi cela disent-ils, sans comprendre les lois régissant ce monde, et leur échappant dans leur principe souverain.

Ton Maître est lui aussi, soumis à ces lois et humainement, il peut

s’étonner de leur incidence sur sa vie matérielle et celle de ses semblables. Les grands secrets ne sont pas révélés ici-bas, même les Elus n’y accèdent pas, dans leur totalité. Le voile de l’illusion caractérise ce monde, y être incarné signifie relever de ces lois, inexorablement. Les plus grands fils de Dieu ont été placés, à un moment donné de leur existence sur la terre, devant l’expectative où l’incertitude la plus grande les habitait. Seule

leur foi imparable constituait le rempart, le plus sûr qui soit. La toute puissance divine y pourvoit, sans se soucier des cogitations humaines, hors de propos face à ses grands desseins, incontournables et décisifs. C’est ainsi.

God's reasons are beyond humans. They ask why this? why that? – without understanding the laws governing this world, and whose sovereign principle escapes them.

"Your Master is also subjected to these laws, and humanly he can be surprised by their impact on his material life and that of his fellow creatures. The great secrets are not revealed here below; even the Chosen Ones do not access them in their entirety. The veil of illusion characterises this world. Being incarnate entails being amenable to these laws, inexorably. At some time in their lives on Earth, the greatest sons of God had to wait and see, haunted by a great feeling of uncertainty. An implacable faith was their only bastion, the surest one. The divine omnipotence provides for it, without worrying about human ponderings which are irrelevant in the face of its great intentions, inescapable and decisive. That is the way it goes."
