Quran 9:45

Ne te demandent permission que ceux qui ne croient pas en Allah et au Jour dernier, et dont les cœurs sont emplis de doute. Ils ne font qu'hésiter dans leur incertitude.

Only those would ask permission of you who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have doubted, and they, in their doubt, are hesitating.

Matthew 14:31

IL‘homme ne peut tout comprendre des expressions de la vie, il est dépassé en bien des circonstances. Nos abhyasis doivent progresser dans l’abandon, dans la confiance envers le Maître et la hiérarchie qui veille sur les moindres aspects du déroulement des faits. Nous connaissons les êtres humains dans leurs moindres faiblesses, aucun d’eux n’est parfait. Le choix de progresser, d’avancer dans cette quête du Divin met en évidence les bons aspects de la personnalité : ceux sur lesquels nous devons travailler. Cela ne peut se faire sans cette forme d’abandon ne dressant aucune barrière par rapport au travail qui s’effectue ici-bas. L’essentiel pour l’aspirant n’est-il pas de progresser, de dépasser ses limites : celles que le mental dresse beaucoup plus souvent qu’il ne le faudrait ! « L’important est ici et maintenant ; là doit se situer le vrai travail, celui qui porte des fruits sur le long terme et qui élève l’être au-dessus des bassesses humaines. La vie de tous les jours emporte dans un tourbillon de péripéties dont il faut savoir parfois saisir la subtilité de certains faits. Tout n’a-t-il pas sa raison d’être ! Il ne faut pas chercher dans notre discours des effets, des intentions qui ne sont pas. L’intellect ici doit se mettre en veilleuse, pourrait-on dire. Seul le cœur dans sa réceptivité si subtile doit appréhender nos propos, [en] saisir et en comprendre le véritable sens loin des élucubrations du mental. La ligne du cœur est droite et simple, mais tellement efficace. Abandon et amour sont déterminants ici où le meilleur peut s’accomplir sous nos constantes bénédictions. »

Human beings cannot understand everything in life's expressions; in many instances they are left behind. Our abhyasis must progress in surrender and trust towards the Master and the hierarchy that is watching over the smallest aspects in the unfolding of events. We know human beings in their slightest weaknesses, and none of them is perfect. The choice to progress, to move forward in this quest for the Divine, highlights the good aspects of the personality – those upon which we must work. That cannot be done without this form of surrender that raises no barriers with respect to the work being carried out here below. For aspirants, isn't the essential thing that they should grow and exceed their limits – limits that the mind sets much more often than it should!

The important thing is here and now; there the real work must lie, work that bears fruit in the long term, raising the being above human baseness. Everyday life sweeps one up in a whirlwind of vagaries, whose subtleties must sometimes be grasped. Doesn't everything have its raison dêtre! One should not search our comments for effects and intentions that are not there. Here, the intellect should step back, one might say. Only the heart in its highly subtle receptivity must grasp our words, capturing and understanding their true meaning far from the fantasies of the mind. The heart line is

straight and simple, yet so effective. Surrender and love are crucial here, where the best can be accomplished under our constant blessings.
